Our annual Scholarship Auction will be held on Saturday, March 20th.

Doors will open at 9:00 and the auction will begin at 10:00  and end around 3:00, or when everything is sold.

In order to bid, you must have a valid form of identification (driver's license, etc.)

Payment by cash or check is required the day of the auction.

Items must be picked up the day of the auction (in some cases, Sunday pick-up can be arranged) .

Items included in the auction (not an inclusive list):

Antiques, Appliances, Artwork, Auto parts/tools, Bicycles, Books, Building supplies, Cameras, CD/DVD players, Christmas decorations, Clothing, Computers and computer accessories, Dishes, Exercise equipment, Farm items, Furniture, Glassware, Jewelry, Kitchen appliances, Lawn equipment, Music, Nicknacks, Radios, Shoes/Boots, Tires, Tools, TVs, Videos, Washers/Dryers, Yard tools - and much more.

There will also be a raffle - tickets will be $5.00 each. Tickets may be purchased from any Hickory Ruritan Club member or at the auction.  Prizes are:

        1st Prize:  Television - Sharp 40" Aquas Flat Screen LCD HDTV -- 1080 p
        2nd Prize:  $100 Gift Card
        3rd Prize: $50 Gift Card

The Hickory Ruritan Club of Chesapeake holds monthly meetings the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The meetings are held at:

The Hickory Ruritan Club holds monthly Bluegrass Concerts in conjunction with the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association on the fourth Saturday of each month at 6 p.m. The concerts are held at our clubhouse and are open to the public.

The admission is $3 for members and $8 for non-members. The doors open at 6 PM - concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

Concessions are available and a 50/25/25 cash drawing is held.
